I offer a unique service that combines the traditional benefits of placenta encapsulation with the personalized approach of Chinese herbal medicine. With Rebirth Remedy+, each placenta is processed with a selection of TCM herbs that are specifically chosen to match the unique needs of the birthing parent. Whether the focus is on boosting energy, improving lactation, enhancing emotional balance, or supporting overall recovery, the herbs used are tailored to optimize healing and recovery. Rebirth Remedy+ is recommended for multiparous birthing parents.

How it works

  • I will gather some basic information about your birth plan to ensure that your birth team is well-prepared to collect the placenta properly after delivery, preserve it, and prepare it for my pickup. The Rebirth Remedy service includes local placenta pickup within 14 hours of birth (within 10 mi of 90041) and delivery of capsules.

  • Unlike other companies & labs offering the service, I only accept one client at a time to ensure that there is never any chance of cross contamination, even energetically, as I work with your placenta.

  • I will begin preparation right away. Please note that I do not offer raw placenta processing. I honor the Chinese herbal preparation method, involving a steaming process that protects the medicinal properties while maintaining the correct internal temperature & steaming duration.

  • For those opting for the RebirthRemedy+ service, the placenta will be steamed with select herbs to infuse their essence into the placenta. RebirthRemedy+ includes additional herbal dehydration & processing and an additional consultation call to determine appropriate herbs.

  • Depending on the placenta size, you can expect to receive approximately 65-120 capsules, each containing 735 mg [00] of placenta. These capsules are made from vegetable-based, gelatin-free materials. I also preserve the umbilical cord as a keepsake.

  • I offer two tiers of service:

    • $450 ~ RebirthRemedy is a pure placenta encapsulation. Recommended for first time birthing parents.

    • $500 ~ RebirthRemedy+ includes a consultation to discuss your individual concerns and potential postpartum obstacles. The custom formulation will be tailored to your unique needs and your capsules will contain both placenta and herbs. Recommended for multiparous birthing parents.

  • Both services include local (within 10 miles of 90041) placenta pickup from your birthing location within 14 hours of birth, preserved umbilical cord upon request [in the shape of a <3], and UV protective glass containers for capsule storage.

    RebirthRemedy+ includes an additional consultation call to determine appropriate herbal recommendations.

  • Safety is of utmost importance in my placenta encapsulation. My preparation process adheres to strict standards of temperature control, ensuring that the placenta is safely handled to eliminate any risk of contamination. Each placenta is treated with care, from the moment it is collected to the final encapsulation, following rigorous hygiene protocols that meet and exceed industry standards. This careful handling guarantees that the encapsulation process retains all the placenta's beneficial properties while maintaining the highest level of safety for the birthing parent.

    • I honor the Chinese herbal preparation method, involving a steaming process that protects the medicinal properties while maintaining the correct internal temperature & cooking duration. This process ensures there is no risk of Group B Strep contamination.

    • After steaming, the placenta is dehydrated for at least 10-12 hours at 145°F, providing an additional layer of protection against potential contamination.
